Mechanical Harlequin Shrimp Sculpture
This handcrafted sculpture reimagines a harlequin / peacock mantis shrimp, one of the most vividly colored creatures on the reef as a biomechanical artifact. A glossy yellow-and-white resin shell is hand-painted with cobalt-blue eye spots, edged with brass joint rings; turn it on, and twin eyes glow violet while the belly pulses with a warm inner light.

A piece for collectors
Part of our ongoing biomechanical creature series, this shrimp is made for lovers of reef-life oddities, crustacean taxidermy-style art and industrial-exotic decor. In daylight it reads as a pop-art study in yellow, white and cobalt; in the dark it becomes a glowing apparition from the reef. Each piece is hand-assembled, so no two are exactly alike.
